Privacy-first. This site uses no advertising trackers, no third-party tracking pixels, and no non-essential cookies. We use only privacy-preserving, cookieless analytics and the essential security and delivery services needed to keep the site available and secure.
This policy explains, in plain English, what that means in practice — what we do and don’t collect, the handful of cookies that may be set, and your rights under UK data protection law.
Who we are
This website (agenticency.com), together with ModernEncy, is operated by MAXFR LTD, a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 1455659), of London, United Kingdom. AgenticEncy and ModernEncy are trading names and a business unit of MAXFR LTD. For the purposes of UK data protection law, MAXFR LTD is the data controller for this site. You can reach us at [email protected].
The short version
We built this site to be quiet. We do not run advertising, we do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not sell or share personal data. We do not collect personal data for accounts, analytics, advertising or profiling. Like any website, essential hosting and security systems may process short-lived technical logs — including IP addresses — to keep the site available and secure.
What we don’t do
- No advertising, and no advertising or marketing trackers.
- No third-party analytics or tracking pixels — no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, and the like.
- No cross-site tracking, device fingerprinting or behavioural profiling.
- No selling, renting or sharing of personal data. Ever.
- No non-essential cookies, and no cookie “consent wall” — because we don’t set the kind of cookies that would need one.
What we do process
Running a website means a small amount of information is unavoidably handled, almost all of it fleeting and technical:
- Delivery & security (our hosting / CDN). The site is served through Cloudflare, our content-delivery and security provider. To route requests, defend against attacks and keep the site online, Cloudflare processes technical connection data — including your IP address, browser type and the page requested — and keeps short-lived logs. This is standard for essentially every website and is what lets the site load safely and quickly.
- Cookieless analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic — for example, how many people viewed a page and roughly which region they came from. It is privacy-preserving by design: it sets no cookies, uses no fingerprinting, does not track you across other websites, and does not build a profile of you. We see counts and trends, not individuals.
- When you contact us. If you email [email protected] (or another MAXFR address), we receive whatever you choose to send — your email address, name and the content of your message — and we use it only to reply and to keep a record of the correspondence. We won’t add you to any marketing list.
Cookies
We aim to run this site with no cookies that require your consent. In practice, the only cookies that may be set are strictly necessary ones placed by our security provider, Cloudflare, to keep the site safe. We set no analytics, advertising or preference cookies of our own.
Cookies we may set
__cf_bm— set by Cloudflare for bot management. It helps tell human visitors apart from automated traffic and typically expires after about 30 minutes. It is a strictly-necessary security cookie and is not used for advertising or tracking.- If Cloudflare needs to challenge suspicious traffic, it may occasionally set other strictly-necessary security cookies (for example
cf_clearance) for the same protective purpose.
Legal bases (UK GDPR)
Where we process the limited data above, we rely on:
- Legitimate interests — to deliver the site, keep it secure and available, defend against abuse, and understand aggregate usage through privacy-preserving analytics. We’ve weighed this against your rights and consider the impact minimal, because the data is technical, short-lived and never used to profile you.
- Your choice — when you email us, you’re choosing to share your details so we can respond.
The strictly-necessary security cookies above are exempt from the consent requirement under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), and our analytics is cookieless — it does not store or read information on your device for tracking.
Sharing & third parties
We do not sell or trade personal data. The only third party involved in normal operation is Cloudflare, which acts as our hosting, content-delivery and security provider (and supplies the cookieless analytics). We may disclose information where the law genuinely requires it. Links to other sites — including our sister brands and any external references — are governed by those sites’ own privacy policies.
International transfers
Because the site is delivered through a global content-delivery network, technical data may be processed on servers outside the UK. Where that happens, it is handled under safeguards recognised by UK data protection law.
How long we keep things
Technical and security logs are short-lived and retained only as long as needed for security and reliability. Email correspondence is kept only for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and our records, and no longer than necessary.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal data — including the right to access it, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. In practice we hold very little (essentially only any email you have sent us), so the simplest way to exercise these is to email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk — though we’d appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Children
This site is intended for a business audience and is not directed at children.
